Rescanning plug-ins (Windows & macOS)

Vst Plugin Folder In Ableton Tutorial

Please be sure Ableton has activated the button for 'Use VST Plug-in System Folder' and 'Use VST Plug-in Custom Folder' if you have one.

So far, I have managed to bring Mobius 2 via JBridge and Cubase Groove Agent 4 VST's into my custom plug-ins folder on Ableton Live 9 (64-bit) and Ableton sees them no problem so I obviously understand the process in general and Ableton is not the problem, but for the life of me I cannot figure out what AmpliTube 4 files I'm supposed to be.

Check if the input monitoring is deactivated on your audio tracks that are using Neural DSP plug-ins in their slots.

If the input monitoring is enabled, your bounced files will be muted after the render.

Some DAWs have different default locations to scan for plugins. If you have installed a plugin (like Equator) and can’t seem to access it from your DAW, check the DAW’s settings to ensure that it is looking in the right folder. In some DAWs you can set additional folders to scan automatically.

For example, in Ableton Live:
