Texture Vst Plugins

Things is going to be a series of smaller plugins covering a wide range of effects, focused on sound design and creativity. The first in the series is Texture, an easy to use granular reverb with pitch shifting and mid/side mode. Texture can transform any sound into an ambient soundscape, or add that drone vibe to your tracks. Free VST Plugins are one of the most exciting things about mixing. In the past it was impossible to imagine that so many quality tools could be available at no cost. Today there are more great free plugins than ever before, but the freeware scene is always changing.

Part FX plug-in, part-synth; Texture synthesises new layers which track the dynamics of your sound. Want to “glue” your hi-hat’s transients by adding dynamic filtered noise? Or how about beefing up that kick drum by automatically adding a low sine wave? Texture makes this easy, intuitive, and fast.

It doesn’t stop at mix enhancement: experimental musicians and sound designers will find a plethora of leftfield effects at their fingertips. How about having bubbling water track a keyboard part, or using an explosion to trigger a sequence of pitch-modulating aftershocks? Texture makes all this and more possible.
